You Can Now Experience the Yearning of 'Wuthering Heights' for Real
With a stay in Cathy Earnshaw’s bedroom and horseback rides across the moors.
One of this year’s most hotly anticipated movies, Wuthering Heights, is about to drop. Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of the novel by Emily Brontë stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi in what the trailer reveals as a steamy romance filled with drama.
While we wait patiently for the release on Valentine’s Day, Airbnb just announced it’s inviting couples to step inside the film’s world with an overnight stay in Cathy Earnshaw’s (Margot Robbie) bedroom in the heart of West Yorkshire, where much of the film was shot. The one-of-a-kind experience is set to immerse guests in the untamed take on Brontë’s original story.
Created around the film’s darkly romantic narrative, expect an intimate listening experience of the soundtrack featuring Charli XCX’s album Wuthering Heights, written specifically for the film, alongside a gift of the exclusive vinyl album. You can also embark on horseback rides across the moors and have an intimate candlelit dinner experience.
With Wuthering Heights driving a huge spike in searches for stays in West Yorkshire for Valentine’s getaways, up 67% among UK Gen Z travellers and 59% globally, the region is becoming the unlikely new capital of yearning and wild romance. Bookings for Cathy’s bedroom open on February 20 at midday (GMT) via the Airbnb website. Don’t sleep on this one.
