Nike Just Launched Alexia Putellas' First Signature Football Boot

A boot fit for a queen.

Alexia Putellas is one of the best soccer players in the world. She’s won nearly everything possible for both club and country, is an FC Barcelona legend and one of the most recognizable faces in the women’s game. Celebrating the superstar known affectionately as La Reina, Nike has unveiled Putellas’ first-ever signature football boot and logo.

Arriving in a bright colorway of neon red and lilac, the boots tell Putellas’ story with an overarching theme of “More Than Eleven.” Paying homage to Putellas’ No. 11 jersey, the boot is covered in the number. Unveiling La Reina’s official Nike logo, the letter A is paired with her jersey number, designed to look like a crown to create a signature befitting the reigning queen of football.

A chrome soleplate is accented by hot pink, stamped with Putellas’ logo. The logo features again on the heel as a metal fixture. Adding to the electric shades of red and contrasting black, metallic and glitter details add a soft, iridescent glow to the sparkling boots.

Complete with a tracksuit, this Putellas signature collection is the first of many that are certain to come. Joining some of the biggest players on Nike’s roster to have their own player-edition boots, it was a long time coming for La Reina.

The Alexia Putellas Phantom 6 boots are available to purchase now on the Nike website and select retailers.

In other news, NikeSKIMS dropped a ballet-inspired collection.
