The 2026 GRAMMY Awards Were All About the Nails

Including sets from Zara Larsson, KATSEYE and more.

At the GRAMMYs, all eyes are on the stars and the extravagant outfits they’re pulling off. But, with how crucial beauty has become to all of the most impactful looks — it’s no surprise that at this year’s red carpet, fan favorites like Zara Larsson and KATSEYE also pulled out their best nail looks.

In 2026, nails are a necessary part of any red carpet ensemble. Whether it’s a subtle natural nail moment like Sabrina Carpenter‘s or a maximalist, extra long Chappell Roan set, the beginning of award season has already brought us a plethora of jaw-dropping nails to add to our mood boards. So, in honor of music’s biggest night, we’re spotlighting all of the standout nail moments we can’t stop thinking about.

Ahead, we break down all of the best nails of the 2026 GRAMMY Awards.

Zara Larsson

Inspired by her custom Germanier red carpet look, Zara Larsson sported beaded almond nails which her nail artist Juan Alvear calls “anything-but-mellow yellow.” Similarly to her glittering outfit, the set featured gold flakes, beads and sequins for a truly multi-dimensional effect.

KATSEYE

In true KATSEYE fashion, the global girl group brought all of the nail drama to the GRAMMYs red carpet. Executed by Naomi Yasuda, the six sets were individually tailored to each member’s distinct personality, all while keeping the group’s aesthetic cohesive with their romatic red carpet outfits.

Chappell Roan

Chappell Roan’s two nail looks included a “Gilded French” chrome set and contrasting “Soft Stained Glass Aura” nails. “We imagined the nail sets living in a medieval ornamental dreamscape. I pulled a lot of inspo from the jewelry that her stylist Genesis curated. I really wanted to capture the grandeur of medieval architecture and each set took about a week to design,” nail artist Rachel Sun tells Hypebae.

Doechii

For Doechii, Rachel Sun completed a copper-chrome, French manicure and pedicure inspired by the rapper’s sequin-embedded archival Roberto Cavalli red carpet gown. The manicure featured short, square tips and a reflective detail, while the matching pedicure was also completed with a square silhouette and shining outlines.

Addison Rae

Best New Artist nominee Addison Rae went with subdued almond nails in a clean, nude color. “The goal was nails that felt clean and intentional — like a natural extension of her hands. A sheer nude is timeless, effortless, and lets Addison’s looks shine,” her nail artist Kim Truong says.

Sabrina Carpenter

The six-time GRAMMY nominee lit up the stage for her “Manchild” performance, so of course her nails followed suit. Made possible by Zola Ganzorigt, Sabrina Carpenter sported a classic French manicure with a chrome finish to complement her custom Valentino red carpet gown.

Kehlani

Kehlani might’ve taken home two GRAMMYs for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song, but her gorgeous nails were just as award-worthy. Dreamed up by Johana Castillo, the star rocked long, stiletto nails which featured a nude base as well as chrome and pearl elements to complete her award show ensemble.
