Clarks Originals Launched Its First Apparel Collection During Paris Fashion Week
Doing head-to-toe dressing right.
Heritage footwear brand Clarks Originals took a step away from Wallabees and boots to bring clothing into the fold for the first time ever. Debuting the brand’s apparel collection during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the unisex release is Clarks Originals’ first time expanding its offerings outside footwear. Bridging the gap between its signature shoe silhouettes and the wide world of fashion, the shoemaker is taking a big step, and we’re sat for this rebrand.
The collection has a similar laidback-yet-refined style to the rest of the brand. Dropping in earth tones and casual fits, Clarks Originals is kicking off apparel in a simple but effective manner. Tees, caps and socks in shades of blue, green, burgundy and brown make up the capsule. Boxy-fit T-shirts with graphics illustrated down the back feature nods to the brand’s most iconic footwear silhouettes: the Wallabee, Desert Boot and Desert Trek.
With retro influences defining the brand’s entry into fashion, trust that there is more where this came from. It’s only the beginning, but Clarks Originals might be the new go-to for head-to-toe dressing going forward.
The debut Clarks Originals apparel collection will be available to purchase via the Clarks Originals website and select retailers later this season.
