JENNIE Just Co-Designed a Collection for Frankies Bikinis
And it’s pretty major.
Just when we couldn’t be any more obsessed with Jennie, she decides to co-design a Frankies Bikinis collection. For the Los Angeles-based swimwear label, the Jennie partnership comes shortly after names like Victoria’s Secret PINK, Kylie Jenner’s Khy and Realisation Par. For Jennie, Frankies Bikinis joins a long list of impressive collaborations like Beats, Gentle Monster and adidas Originals.
Merging the laid-back energy of California with the singer’s distinct aesthetic, this partnership delivers a range that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Taking inspiration from the archives and vintage swimwear, the collection features classic silhouettes like the Mina Boy Shorts, Hana Top and double-layered Astrid Top. Elsewhere, the collection includes hand-crocheted pieces like the International Angel dress and Gabriella cover-up.
“I wanted the pieces to feel like summer moments I love: simple, a little playful, and easy to wear anywhere. I was inspired by the idea of something that feels effortless but still cute, like something you reach for without thinking but always feel confident in. It started from the idea of ‘swim-to-street’, reimagining swimwear as something that can be styled beyond the beach and worn effortlessly in everyday life,” said JENNIE in a press release.
“I’m so proud of this collaboration. Getting to work with a fashion icon like Jennie is a dream come true. She’s someone who I’ve admired for shaping culture on a global scale. Bringing her into the Frankies world felt like the most natural and exciting creative partnership we’ve embarked on,” added founder Francesca Aiello.
The Jennie x Frankies Bikinis collection drops April 2nd at 9 am PST via the Frankies Bikinis website.
