Little Simz 'Splits the G' for JW Anderson and Guinness' Second Collaboration

Complete with beer foam-inspired knitwear and pub carpet prints.

Irish pub culture is rich in storytelling, community and, of course, a perfectly poured pint of Guinness, and it’s now getting the high-fashion treatment. Following the success of their first collaboration, JW Anderson and Guinness reunite for a second capsule, this time bigger and bolder.

The 17-piece lineup is rooted in traditional Irish pub culture, with community, storytelling and warmth at the heart. The collection takes Anderson’s satirical lens and pairs it with the Guinness iconography to tell a fresh reinterpretation of the Guinness heritage. The offering includes denim workwear with dungarees and jackets alongside the brand’s signature twisted jeans, directly inspired by the vintage brewery uniforms. This is utility meets luxury, with pieces rooted in history while boldly looking forward.

You’ll also find a white shirt drawing from the Guinness archives to feature a poem first printed in a 1938 advertisement. Alongside this, fabrications nod to pub carpets and the Guinness beer mat, adding a sensory experience and turning the textures into refined pieces. One highlight is the Guinness Gradient Jumper, which is inspired by the signature settling head of a pint through its gradient intarsia and fuzzy texture reminiscent of the creamy foam.

With Irish culture currently making waves globally across entertainment and fashion, the collection’s launch coincides with this natural peak in interest. The accompanying campaign also features some huge star power, fronted by Little Simz and Joe Alwyn.

Creative director Jonathan Anderson shared, “I’ve always been fascinated by the graphic language of Guinness; it’s so immediate, so culturally loaded, yet incredibly refined. For me, this collaboration felt like an opportunity to take that heritage and recontextualise it through the craft-led lens that defines JW Anderson today.”

The collection is now available via the JW Anderson website and in select stores globally.
