adidas Is Upgrading the Samba for Summertime

Reimagined as a mule for an airy new look.

Just when we thought the Samba obsession had reached its peak, adidas just proved it’s not finished yet. Every trend has room for innovation, and the classic sneaker just got a hot weather upgrade. The Three Stripes is making its most popular lifestyle silhouette even better, with a Samba Mule in the works for a summertime drop.

Mules are hot right now, and adidas wants to join in on the fun. The upcoming pack features three distinct colorways: “Off White/Preloved Brown,” “Beige,” and “Navy.” The lighter shades have been reimagined for maximum breathability this season, replacing the usual upper with mesh.

Meanwhile, the “Navy” pair is more aligned with the classic silhouette, featuring a knit weave on the Three Stripes combined with a smooth leather and suede upper for a sleek, structured look. All three styles feature the classic gum sole, ensuring the sneaker’s DNA remains intact even with an airy, new silhouette. Whether you’re poolside or heading to brunch, these are set to be a summer staple.

Though an official release date hasn’t been revealed yet, the adidas Samba Mule is expected to drop in the very near future. Keep an eye out for updates.

In other news, Nike and Procell are dropping a vintage-inspired Total 90 sneaker.
