adidas and Song for the Mute's New Collection Is an Ode to Youth
With two new sneaker silhouettes for the summer.
adidas and Song for the Mute are back for their seventh collaboration, and this one is a celebration of childhood. Rooted in the nostalgia of play clothes and hand-me-downs, the collection perfectly captures the raw, unintentional style of youth.
Leading the drop is the dreamiest footwear. The reworked TOKYO silhouette references low-profile gym shoes, with a lightweight nylon and mesh upper complete with a crushed, ballerina-like elasticated heel and paint-splattered suede upper. Arriving pre-scuffed, the sneaker has a worn out look straight out of the box, alluding to endless, playful days and core memories.
On the other hand, the SAMBA LX FREIZEIT arrives in glossy black and rich brown full-grain leather, elevated by suede stripes and a protective taped layer.
The clothes have an effortless, uniform style to them, with mismatched rugby shirts and distressed, sun-bleached tees. The youthful look is complete with a worn tote bag and cap.
The newest adidas x Song for the Mute collection is available to purchase now on the adidas and Song for the Mute websites and select retailers.
In other news, Jung Kook and Calvin Klein are dropping a collaboration.
