Bad Bunny and adidas Unveil the "Flamboyán" Ballerina Sneaker
Bringing Puerto Rican summer to the world.
The ballerina sneaker trend is officially here to stay, and Bad Bunny is making sure your rotation stays colorful this season. The Puerto Rican superstar and adidas Originals have finally unveiled the highly-anticipated Ballerina in “Vivid Red” — also known as “Flamboyán” — and it’s the perfect shoe for the summer.
For Bad Bunny, this drop hits close to home, and he’s sharing a little bit of the island with us. The vibrant flame-red hue drops at the perfect time to match the seasonal bloom of Puerto Rico’s native Flamboyán trees, bringing a piece of Caribbean summer straight to your feet.
Reimagining the 2000s adidas Taekwondo martial arts silhouette, this ultra-sleek, low-profile shoe is the upgrade your closet needed. The sneaker arrives with suede overlays on the toe and heel, bungee-cord laces and subtle “Benito” branding near the signature Three Stripes.
The sneaker already made its on-stage debut during Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rican residency, but now it’s time for the world to get the Benito look.
The “Flamboyán” Ballerina will be available to purchase starting May 30 on the adidas website and select retailers.
