Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2027 Show Debuted a Keith Haring Collab
With a star-studded front row including Zendaya, Chase Infiniti and Anne Hathaway.
Pack your bags, because Louis Vuitton is taking us on a trans-Atlantic trip. For the brand’s Cruise 2027 collection, creative director Nicolas Ghesquière orchestrated a beautiful collision between the chic sophistication of Paris and the gritty, multi-layered energy of New York City. Staged inside the historic salons of The Frick, the show fused Old World European culture with modern American style.
The ultimate easter egg of the collection? A deep dive into the LV archives unearthed a 1930s leather suitcase, now radically tagged by the legendary Keith Haring. This encounter sparked the rest of the collection, with Haring’s signature pop art splashing across vibrant clothing and statement accessories.
The garments themselves served as a perfect contradiction. Think everyday staples like blue jeans, jersey and leather elevated by elite French savoir-faire. Ghesquière played with New York’s dualities, mixing Gilded Age grandeur with pop culture fragments like slot machines and car structures. With graffiti-style sequin embroidery and a joyful color palette, the runway was filled with a dynamic and liberated energy. The collection was pop luxury at its absolute finest, proving that whether you’re uptown, downtown or across the pond, good style speaks an international language.
