YSL Beauty Announces Charli XCX as Its Newest Ambassador
The duo joins forces in a new campaign.
YSL Beauty has tapped Charli XCX to be its newest United States local ambassador. Citing her undeniable cultural impact and distinct beauty identity, the star joins fellow ambassadors Lila Moss, Amelia Gray and Laura Harrier. Harping on Charli XCX and YSL Beauty’s shared passion for visual storytelling, the brand says the partnership is yet another testament to its pulse on modern beauty.
“It’s been really special to collaborate and evolve how I express myself through beauty with YSL Beauty in the past months. Hope you enjoy what we’re making,” Charli XCX says in a press release. In honor of the new role, YSL Beauty also unveiled a campaign inspired by the star’s effortless edge.
At the center of the campaign is the brand’s new Skin Affair Soft Glow Cushion Foundation. Designed to achieve a glass skin look on-the-go, the cushion foundation captures Charli XCX’s lived-in makeup aesthetic thanks to its radiant finish and lightweight feel. Paired with the artist’s signature smokey eye, the full campaign look is evocatively described by the brand as “a manifesto for unfiltered femininity.”
