YSL Beauty Announces a New Trio of Ambassadors
Lila Moss, Amelia Gray and Laura Harrier are linking up with the brand.
YSL Beauty has tapped a new cast of U.S. ambassadors: Lila Moss, Amelia Gray and Laura Harrier. The brand cites each woman’s individual confidence and distinct beauty aesthetic as the reason for the partnership. In a campaign directed by Renell Medrano, the brand attempts to marry its signature themes of timeless legacy and modern audacity.
“Inspired by the voyeuristic lens that surrounds the lives of our three YSL Beauty local ambassadors, this campaign showcases YSL Beauty unfiltered, unscripted,” the brand says in a press release. “Each woman is captured in the street, moving through her day. There is a glow that feels lived-in, not manufactured. Their authentic presence can be felt no matter how close the lens.”
For her third campaign with YSL Beauty, newly-announced ambassador Lila Moss says she’s growing with the brand. “It feels personal to me. Makeup has always been less about transformation and more about intention – how you want to show up in the world that day,” Moss says in a press release.
On the other hand, the brand says Amelia Gray’s authenticity and magnetism makes her the ideal ambassador. “I love the way YSL makeup can amplify the way you feel and present yourself to the world. I’m someone who is comfortable with change and seeks to create it, so I always want to bring a sense of strength and self to the moment,” Gray says.
Lastly, Laura Harrier’s choreography of talent and beauty frame her as the quintessential YSL Beauty muse. “When I do my own makeup, I love looking glowy and alive and highlighted. I’ve always loved YSL for the way it makes my skin look and the neutral colors that emphasize my facial structure,” she says.
