Empty Behavior and ASICS Give the Hypersync a Ruffled Upgrade
The perfect mix of femininity and streetwear.
Experimental footwear label Empty Behavior is teaming up with ASICS for the perfect collaboration merging femininity and industrial edge. Taking on the sleek Hypersync silhouette, the duo is subverting traditional athletic aesthetics with a beautifully delicate twist.
The standout feature of this collaboration is the creative re-coding of ASICS’ iconic tiger stripes. Swapping out the classic structured overlays, Empty Behavior has reimagined the cross-lines into elegant, ruffled fabric frills. It is the perfect touch of balletcore romance meeting tactical streetwear.
The drop features two distinct colorways built from a lightweight mix of synthetic leather and open-weave air mesh. For the goths at heart, “Black Breeze” offers a moody, dark base elevated by sweet, unexpected pops of soft pink. If you prefer a clean aesthetic, the “White/Pure Silver” iteration offers effortless, versatile styling. True to the Hypersync’s minimal design DNA, the shoe features a heavily padded tongue, dual branding on the toe box and an ultra-thin, barefoot-style sole unit.
The Empty Behavior x ASICS Hypersync collection is set to launch later this year. Keep your eyes peeled for an official release date.
