Gohar World Is Releasing Its First-Ever Sneaker With ASICS
Launching the perfect sneakerina for fall.
You heard it here first: Gohar World is officially entering the footwear space, and the brand is taking some tips from ASICS in the process. Co-founded by sisters Laila and Nadia Gohar and known for making the homewares and decor of our dreams, the duo teamed up with ASICS SportStyle to reimagine the all-new GEL-DS TRAINER SP silhouette. Blending mid-2000s track-and-field spike designs with the delicate lines of a ballet flat, this limited-edition drop is a stunning blend of sporty style and hyperfeminine glamor.
Co-founded by sisters Laila and Nadia Gohar, the New York-based brand infuses its surrealist charm directly into the shoe’s design. The lightweight silhouette comes adorned with eccentric charms, stainless-steel piercings and a silver-plated copper Gohar Bean to elevate the look, while dual black and orange laces let you lace up in your own way.
Of course, comfort isn’t sacrificed for style. Packed with ASICS’ TRUSSTIC support unit and rearfoot GEL technology, Laila Gohar notes in a press release the shoe was made to effortlessly transition “from early mornings at the market to evenings around the table.”
The Gohar World x ASICS collaboration will be available to purchase starting September 1 exclusively on the Gohar World website.
