Ukrainian Brands Are Redefining the Global Fashion Scene

From fashion week mainstays to Beyoncé’s hat designer.

Ukrainian designers are demanding a spot in your wardrobe, moving past traditional fashion hubs to deliver some of the most resilient design perspectives in contemporary style. Operating under the heavy weight of ongoing conflict, these creatives are channeling raw emotion into boundary-pushing garments. This is not just survival; it’s a master stroke of uncompromising artistry from a community that refuses to be sidelined.

The global impact of this creative wave is visible across major fashion weeks. Paris hosted independent label LITKOVSKA, with its Fall/Winter 2026 show sending models down the runway wearing functional headlamps. The styling choice served as a direct nod to the blackout conditions the brand’s atelier staff faced while constructing the collection back home.

Meanwhile, London Fashion Week counts experimental names like Masha Popova, KSENIASCHNAIDER and Keburia as seasonal mainstays. The momentum extends well beyond luxury and into contemporary lifestyle spaces, too. Smaller independent labels such as TTSWTRS and LONDI are gaining international traction through experimental graphics and distinct construction methods. To help update your seasonal rotation, we’ve compiled the names you need to know. Scroll on for the full list.

LITKOVSKA

It’s not new to say that fashion reflects the state of the world, but few brands embody this as powerfully as LITKOVSKA. The label puts the country’s current war-torn climate front and center, spotlighting the hardship, resilience and hope that its people show, represented through garments. The brand’s FW26 runway show in Paris drew direct inspiration from the war, with models wearing headlamps and a room scent designed to recreate the smell of bomb shelters and icy temperatures. This designer is not afraid to face harsh realities while being extremely proud of her heritage.

KSENIASCHNAIDER

Founded together with her husband in 2011 in Kyiv, KSENIASCHNAIDER specializes in upcycling old clothes and using textile waste to create new garments. With a unique focus on denim, the label reworks shapes we know and love into entirely new formulations, such as jeans with oversized, cinched waists or bottoms worn as tops. Now a regular on the LFW schedule, this designer is proving that talent knows no borders.

MASHA POPOVA

Masha Popova is a London-based designer turning everyday staple silhouettes into unique designs through fabric manipulation and construction. Not always planning to go into fashion, Popova loved the emotional aspect of it, a medium that gave her a way to build a whole world grounded in craft.

TTSWTRS

TTSWTRS is the brand making skin part of its designs. Figure-hugging and nearly naked, the label has been subverting the definition of clothing since 2013, when it launched in Kyiv. Founded by former costume designer and stylist Anna Osmekhina, the label is known for blending art with fashion, literally, by adding tattoo-inspired prints onto its skin-like garments. This is the embodiment of cool.

RUSLAN BAGINSKIY

Moving into the accessories realm, Ruslan Baginskiy has been topping off the heads of some of the biggest stars, including Beyoncé, Madonna and Miley Cyrus. From baker boy hats to beanies, fedoras and huge custom headwear (think Beyoncé on her World Renaissance Tour), this designer is subverting everything you thought you knew about hats.

LONDI

LONDI is a loungewear and lingerie brand reimagining how we look at intimates. From collaborations with artists to playful ruffles and unexpected silhouettes, there is nothing boring about these designs. If you’re utterly over the current lounger offerings out there, this is the brand for you.

SHYPELYK

SHYPELYK is rooted in a connection to nature with a sense of fairytale imagination. The brand’s handcrafted and careful attitude towards design (and life) is felt through the delicate silhouettes. Operating under a small-scale production system, pieces are mostly made-to-order, supporting a culture of thoughtful consumption.

SLEEPER

Sleeper was founded in 2014 by Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa. The loungewear brand is known for its thoughtful craftsmanship and gorgeous pieces, such as fluffy trimmed robes, and to prove it, even some of Hollywood’s biggest stars are fans. Pieces have appeared in shows including Emily in Paris, Ted Lasso, And Just Like That… and the Barbie movie, with celebs including Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts also spotted wearing the label.
