I.AM.GIA is bringing together fashion, art and Los Angeles culture with its latest collection, “GIA GTA,” created in collaboration with visual artist T-Rex. The second instalment of the brand’s “Gia & Friends” series, the collection reimagines I.AM.GIA’s silhouettes through the artist’s spray paint techniques, mixed-media artwork and instantly recognizable “Red Vixens” motif.
Highlights include a limited-edition update to The Blare tracksuit, I.AM.GIA’s bestselling set with over one million pieces sold, alongside neon bandage dresses (hello 2010s), lava red separates, glow-in-the-dark graphics, platinum silver bikinis and leopard print capris.
“I’ve been collecting Rex’s prints since long before I could afford art,” shared I.AM.GIA founder Alana Pallister. “Gia’s world is a world of wild imagination. Paired with Rex’s, it becomes something vivid and current and completely its own.”
Shot by Indiana, the campaign celebrates three generations of LA creativity, starring Angelyne alongside Yume, Baby Afrika, Sophie Saint, Isis Madilyn, Chloe Spence, Tanya and Pallister herself. The campaign culminates in a billboard featuring Angelyne wearing the collection, a nod to the self-made star’s approach to creating visibility long before the age of social media.
Blending fashion, art and pop culture, “GIA GTA” captures the shared desire to build a world and a spotlight entirely on your own terms.
