ETRO and BIRKENSTOCK's Debut Collab Is for the Boho Girls
Bringing bohemian chic to the brand’s iconic footwear.
First teased during the ETRO Fall/Winter 2026 runway show at Milan Fashion Week, BIRKENSTOCK and ETRO have officially joined forces for a collaborative footwear collection. Merging BIRKENSTOCK’s signature functional design with ETRO’s unmistakable bohemian aesthetic, the drop reinterprets two iconic silhouettes: the Boston clog and the Gizeh thong sandal.
Marking the Boston’s 50th anniversary, the timeless clog and the 1983-born Gizeh sandal are reimagined in premium taupe and chocolate suede and nappa leather. Each design showcases ETRO’s maximimalist take on boho chic, manifesting itself in embroidered paisley motifs, trailing fringe, custom Western-inspired buckles and Pegasus-branded rivets.
Craftsmanship remains central to the release. Each shoe is constructed around BIRKENSTOCK’s signature anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed, wrapped in tonal leather. On the bottom, the outsole blends BIRKENSTOCK’s classic bone-pattern tread with ETRO’s signature paisley pattern, stamping style into every step.
The first chapter of the BIRKENSTOCK by ETRO collaboration is available to purchase now on the ETRO website, BIRKENSTOCK’s 1774 website and select retailers worldwide. Additional chapters of the collaboration are expected to roll out in the coming months.
In other news, Celine and Reebok just launched the brand’s first-ever sneaker collaboration.
