BIRKENSTOCK and ADERERROR Revamp the Boston Clog for Their Second Collab
Elevating a classic style with little details.
BIRKENSTOCK and Seoul-based creative label ADERERROR are reuniting for a second collaboration, taking on one of fashion’s most enduring silhouettes: the BIRKENSTOCK Boston. Originally introduced in 1976 and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the closed-toe clog gets a modern, conceptual birthday update rooted in ADERERROR’s ethos.
Anchored by the concept of “Thread,” the capsule explores theme-driven visual storytelling through subtle design accents. The stitch serves as a visual bridge between the two brands, highlighted by contrasting whipstitch elements and ADERERROR’s signature zigzag embroidery running across the collection.
The range introduces two distinct models: the Boston Cap and the Boston Flap. The Boston Cap arrives in classic Black and Camel, featuring a dual-layer leather upper complete with a protective leather cap. The Boston Flap I offered in ADERERROR’s vibrant “Ultra Blue” and a warm “Honey” tone, reshaping the classic profile with an exaggerated top flap fixed by crisp white whipstitching.
Staying true to the legacy of the original model, both iterations are constructed on BIRKENSTOCK’s signature anatomical footbed, striking a balance between supportive daily functionality and fashion-forward footwear.
The BIRKENSTOCK x ADERERROR capsule is available to purchase now online via BIRKENSTOCK’s 1774 website and the ADERERROR website, as well as select retailers.
