Serena Williams Will Return to the Courts Next Month

Set your calendars.

Serena Williams will finally return to the competitive tennis courts next month. This news comes five months after the accomplished tennis champion gave birth to her daughter Alexis Ohanian Jr.

Serena is set to play in the upcoming Fed Cup alongside her sister Venus, both representing the United States against the Netherlands. She last competed in the Fed Cup back in 2015. This will be her first tennis competition since winning the 2017 Australian Open while pregnant.

The forthcoming Fed Cup is scheduled to take place in North Carolina on February 10 and 11.
