Demna Gvasalia Pays Homage to colette With Vetements' First-Ever Flat Shoe
A collectible, for sure.
Beloved Parisian boutique colette shut its doors for good in December of last year, a loss that weighed heavy in the hearts of fashion lovers everywhere. Paying homage to the retailer, Demna Gvasalia has now created two different sets of shoes emblazoned with the store’s logo and hallmark blue and white color scheme.
Along with a pair of Vetements’ signature reworked stiletto pumps shared via Instagram by colette co-founder Sarah Andelman, we also get a glimpse of Vetements’ first-ever pair of flat shoes. Hashtagged as #memorabilia by Andelman, it’s very likely that we will never see a pair of shoes like this from Gvasalia ever again.
