Nike's Air Max 97 "Metallic" Pack Drops Just in Time for the Festive Season

Nike‘s Air Max 97 is a style-staple that’s been seen in a myriad of finishes recently, from gingham to “Blue Hero.” Now, in time for the festive season, the iconic sneaker is arriving in a trio of shimmering tones as part of the “Metallic” pack.
The silhouette remains largely the same as the original iteration, with the sneakers taking cues from the lustworthy “Metallic Gold” and “Silver Bullet” versions. Constructed with a mixed material upper forming the signature waves on the sidewalls, the available colors are “White/Metallic Silver,” “Black/Metallic Silver” and “Black/Metallic Gold.” Each features a shiny leather panel on the lower half of the shoe, as well as on the upper half of the midsole and the tongue. Completing the look are red Swoosh accents and visible Air Max cushioning embedded in the midsole and a white outsole.
