Mark your calendars for this surprise drop.
Swedish brand Eytys, perhaps most well-known for their cult-favorite chunky Angel sneakers, has just revealed its teaming up with none other than H&M for a gender-fluid collaboration. Comprising of apparel, accessories and footwear, the lineup is pretty reflective of Eytys’ brand identity, with many of the pieces modelled after key items in their pre-existing range but of course, at a more affordable price point.
In terms of footwear, the collection features sneakers that bear resemblance to Eytys’ Angel, Jet and Mother silhouettes, in colorways ranging from patent white to yolk yellow and snakeskin. For those already planning for summer vacations, there are also pool slides available in snakeskin and patent black mock croc with a textured, elevated flatform sole and for something more winter-ready, there are some black lace-up boots.
The apparel offering boasts tees, graphic sweatshirts, a button-up shirt, vinyl jackets, denim jeans and pants and for accessories you can choose from socks, a belt with silver ring detailing and a chunky silver-tone chain. Discussing the partnership with WWD, Max Schiller the creative director at Eytys shared:
“The collection is all about proportions — creating a distinct unisex silhouette by playing around with loose silhouettes and chunky architectural footwear. With this collaboration, we hope to introduce the H&M customer to our design philosophy of robust and fuss-free design where function triumphs embellishment and styles that span genders.”
