H&M Taps WARDROBE.NYC for Its Latest Designer Collaboration

Transforming almost a decade of the brand’s archive into a timeless capsule.

H&M is continuing its legacy of blockbuster designer collaborations, following recent partnerships with Glenn Martens and Stella McCartney, this time joining forces with New York-based label WARDROBE.NYC on a capsule built around the art of elevated essentials. The collection brings the brand’s minimalist philosophy to a wider audience, translating nearly a decade of WARDROBE.NYC’s archive into timeless closet foundations.

Founded in 2017 by editor and stylist Christine Centenera alongside designer Josh Goot, WARDROBE.NYC has become synonymous with refined dressing, proving that the modern wardrobe doesn’t need excess to make an impact. The H&M collaboration reflects that ethos through sharp tailoring, clean lines and pieces designed to work together effortlessly. “We wanted to create a capsule for H&M that was true to the wardrobe concept: A timeless and versatile statement that was both essential and of the moment,” shared Goot.

Leading the collection is a long black wool coat, accompanied by structured blazers, tailored mini and midi skirts, straight-leg denim and relaxed hoodies. Crafted from premium materials including wool blends, organic cotton and recycled technical fabrics, this is all about polish and everyday ease. A soft blue shirt punctuates a muted palette of black, grey and white, while patent open-toe boots and a sleek brass-buckle belt complete the offering.

Layering sits at the heart of the collection, with bodysuits, leggings, tanks and sheer pieces designed to function as building blocks. Whether styled as complete looks or mixed into an existing closet, each piece is intended to offer longevity over seasonal trends.

The collection launches on the H&M website and in select stores on August 6.
