Boss b*tch shades.
Alexander Wang is leaving New York Fashion Week like a boss — literally. The designer, who announced recently that he’ll no longer be showing at NYFW moving forward, has delivered a strong and empowering runway show for the Fall/Winter 2018 season.
Set at the 4 Times Square, the #WANGINC catwalk sees Wang ditching the party life for a corporate one. A diverse lineup of models, which includes Kaia Gerber, Songhwa Oh, Sora Choi and Selena Forrest, has strutted down the hallways of the skyscraper in ’80s clipped updos and office-ready ensembles. Blazers are reimagined into little black dresses, while athleisure fits go glam with faux fur details and glittery heels.
Accessories also play a huge role in the collection, coming in the form of “CEO” belts, bejewled lunch bags and tights, as well as on-trend fanny packs worn across the chest. To top it all off, Wang has even unveiled his upcoming eyewear collaboration with Korean label, Gentle Monster. From mirrored lenses to retro, mini frames, the sunglass range is undoubtedly a must-cop for all A Wang fans.
