Hello Kitty Shinkansen Bullet Trains Are Coming to Japan This Summer

And we’re booking our trip already.

From apparel and footwear to food and beauty, Hello Kitty has been tapped for basically any sort of collaboration one can imagine. However, nothing quite compares to the latest gig of the beloved Sanrio character.

As JR West announces, the railway company has teamed up with the ever popular feline for a Hello Kitty-themed bullet train. In an effort to revitalize the West Japan region, the pink-hued vehicle aptly dubbed “Hello Kitty Shinkansen” will be operating this summer for a limited time. From the exterior down to small details inside the train, passengers will find kawaii decorations and Hello Kitty-inspired motifs like her cute bow.

For more information, head over to the official Hello Kitty Shinkansen website.

Be sure to also check out these illustrations in which Hello Kitty dresses up in brands like Kappa, Supreme and Champion.
