Selena Gomez Has Designed Her First PUMA Sneaker

Since announcing a partnership last year Selena Gomez and PUMA have moved full steam ahead with innovative releases. To start, the two began to revamp the brand’s Phenom silhouette debuting it in a sleek black followed up by a cream satin iteration. She then served as the muse of the latest IGNITE Flash campaign rocking the white colorway of the runner.
Selena has now slipped on her designer hat creating her first-ever collaborative sneaker — the Phenom Lux. The sneaker is meant to stand out transitioning from the gym to the street effortlessly. The stylish shoe has a white leather upper that is accented with gold detailing. IGNITE foam is used to bolster its midsole creating a kinetic foot mold that curves to the foot of the wearer. A removable anklet completes, adding the right amount of extra.
To pair with the exclusive release matching caged socks will be sold as well. The Leapcat-branded footies extend up to the lower calf and are the same hue of crisp white. The sales of both products will benefit the Lupus Research Alliance, the world’s leading private funder of Lupus research. A donation will be made to support advancement in the field and encourage new discoveries for potential treatments that will lead to a cure. Gomez shares her excitement for collaboration:

Her Phenom Lux and sock set will stock in limited quantities on April 6 both online and in PUMA stores exclusively.
