The Arrivals' New Unisex Pieces Bring the Mountain to the Streets

The latest leather jackets, bombers, parkas, hoodies and more.

Having closed off 2017 with a series of dreamy pop-ups in New York, LA and San Francisco, The Arrivals now continues the momentum with its latest Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Comprised of a selection of transitional outerwear essentials, the NYC-based label seamlessly brings together mountain performance wear and contemporary street style designs.

On the new program, The Arrivals’ Creative Director Jeff Johnson tells HYPEBAE:

“Inspired by our relentless pursuit to merge mountain functionality with street detailing, The Arrivals SS18 Collection showcases our obsession with hyper-functional technical materials, exploring their application into streamlined-street silhouettes. Each piece considers our utility meets design ethos – from double zip functionality on our leathers to our unisex parkas using a 2-layer water-resistant micro-mesh textile sourced directly from Canada.

We’ve also stepped into layerables with our first ever hoodie alongside a pocket and logo tee; marking our foray into performance driven knits. By fusing outerwear design elements including ventilating grommet details and heat-seal seaming with technical uv-protective knits we push to create pieces that enhance an urban lifestyle while supporting our mission to get out there and embrace the elements.”

For the Spring/Summer 2018 season, The Arrivals will adopt a weekly drop schedule that will be teased through a waitlist already launched on February 27. The waitlist will grant customers access to exclusive product pre-sales. The leathers collection is slated to drop on March 6; parkas and umbrellas on March 13; bombers on March 20; and hoodies and tees on March 27. You can find the pieces at thearrivals.com when they drop and can watch the campaign video below.
