
COMME des GARÇONS Will Be Launching Its First Online-Only Brand This Summer
Designer Rei Kawakubo is reportedly building the label’s website.
COMME des GARÇONS has officially announced its plan to launch a new, online-only brand this July. At the opening of Dover Street Market Beijing last week, the brand’s CEO Adrian Joffe shared with WWD that this label will be the first “Internet-based” imprint. Designer Rei Kawakubo is reportedly building the website which will join GARÇONS’ 18 other brands including HOMME DEUX, PLAY and more. Additionally, the publication shared that a “simple” range for men and women will launch in six shops worldwide, following the brand’s online-only debut.
