Gelareh Mizrahi is known for her eponymous label, which features a series of whimsical and creative accessories unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Known for her unique way of “taking luxury and making it street,” Mizrahi has crafted a range of accessories made from sustainably sourced python. The designer also created “The Selfie Project,” where customers could turn their own portrait into a cute and quirky bag. Seen on the arms of celebrities like Taylor Swift and Emma Roberts, the label is one to keep an eye on.
Now, Gelareh Mizrahi is opening a pop-up store in Miami Design Disctrict – and it features a 40-foot mini-vert skate ramp. “The skate ramp is a throwback to the neighborhood’s pre-gentrified days and meant to connect the community in transition,” said the designer, also adding that it is an homage to her first piece – the python-covered skateboard. The pop-up is set to run for a year, so make sure you pay a visit if you’ll be passing through Miami.
