You Won't Recognize Kourtney Kardashian in This New 'V' Editorial

Wearing everything from her makeup collab with Kylie Jenner.

Ahead of the release of her makeup collaboration with Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian has recently sat down with V magazine to talk about everything related to the upcoming launch.

To accompany the interview, the 39-year-old reality star has fronted a fashion editorial styled by Dani Michelle, in which she’s seen wearing lip colors and eyeshadows from her Kylie Cosmetics collection. Donning a range of latex and clear vinyl pieces from brands like Burberry, Kourtney looks almost like her supermodel sister Kendall Jenner in the shoot.

When asked how the Kourt x Kylie collection came about, Kourtney reveals that the range has been in the works for about a year:

Kylie approached me saying she wanted to do a collab with me. One night when we were at our mom’s house, she had mentioned she had some ideas about a possible collab. We were actually going to do to it last year, but then we decided to change direction … We ended up creating something totally different from what we were talking about before. We decided to do three eyeshadow palettes and a lip to go with each palette.

Additionally, she cites her recent family trip to Japan as a source of inspiration for one of her eyeshadow shades:

When we began the collaboration, I got to share my ideas of what I would love to wear, so we both combined our thoughts. With the red color, I was very inspired by geishas because we had just been in Japan and all of the geishas we had met had red eyeshadow. And with everything else, there is a big range of different options. It was definitely a true collaboration between the two of us from the start of creating this collection.

To learn more about the makeup range, which is set to release at kyliecosmetics.com on April 24, head over to V to read the full feature.
