Listen to Nicki Minaj's New Singles "Barbie Tingz" and "Chun-Li"

Arriving a day after Nicki Minaj dropped two images via Instagram in preparation for the release of her newest singles, “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li,” the artist unveils a music video teaser. In the brief visual, Minaj is decked out in the all-Fendi logo look which she wore on the cover of the “Chun-Li” single cover. In her next look, she dons a pair of over-the-knee shoes strikingly similar to Balenciaga‘s Knife boots in bright purple styled with a yellow blow-up skirt and a pink bustier.
With the release of both tracks, Nicki sets the tone for the forthcoming summer months. Both singles are aggressive and filled with energy. The euphemisms she used throughout “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz” are witty and downright reminiscent of her rapper roots which were ever-present on her 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty.
