Seoul-based eyewear brand Gentle Monster debuts its capsule and pop-up experience with London-based luxury retailer Selfridges. The pop-up launches at Selfridges’ Corner Shop location and follows the theme, “Traders.” The concept is based on a tribe of extra-terrestrial creatures that travel throughout space, created by Gentle Monsters.
In the capsule collection, the concept finds its way onto the sunglasses which are created as “wearable ornaments” by “Traders.” The pop up will include a range of Gentle Monster styles, in addition to three colorways of the “Afix” frame sunglasses which are exclusive to Selfridges. The three designs arrive with lens filled with the following colors: “Yellow,” “Pink” and “Blue.”
The Gentle Monster x Selfridges pop-up officially opens on June 4. Pricing starts at $315 USD for the exclusive sunglasses range. Take a look at each pair in the gallery above.
