The Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite "Triple White" Is Next Level Clean
A minimalist essential.
Having already seen a summer-ready rework of the iconic Air Force 1 in the form of an Upstep model in “Particle Rose,” Nike now introduces another eye-catching silhouette. This time around, Swoosh re-launches the Air Force 1 Foamposite. Rendered in “Triple White,” this might just be one of the cleanest iterations we’ve seen all summer.
Utilizing a streamlined design of a Foamposite base as the upper, the new sneaker showcases a shape that is virtually seamless. Although the profile is absolutely pristine with its tonal colorway, the icy blue outsole nicely complements the look. First debuted in 2010, the AF1/Foamposite creation has since received mixed reviews – for one, many sneakerheads are not quite sure what to think about the classic Air Force 1 reimagined with the basketball shoe’s airy foam material. The sneaker’s key details seem to get lost along the way, but perhaps that’s the point. What do you think about the Frankenstein sneaker? Let us know in the comment section below.
The Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite “Triple White” is slated to drop on May 26 at select Nike stockists. You can expect each pair to retail at $180 USD.
