Fumiko Imano Re-Imagines Loewe for Its Fall/Winter 2018 Lookbook

Combining art and fashion.

Madrid-based luxury label Loewe previously joined forces with Japanese photographer and artist Fumiko Imano for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, and now the two are back with another eye-catching lookbook. Balancing Imano’s unique and recognizable twin-inspired style, and Loewe’s modern yet timeless designs, the lookbook captures the pieces in an intriguing way. Imano, who is known for her whimsical work featuring herself and a fictional twin, is joined by model Liya Kebede in the lookbook.

Designed by Jonathan Anderson of J.W. Anderson, the collection features everything from sleek blazers and suit sets, to elegant coats and jackets. Accessories also play a big part of the lookbook, showcasing some of the label’s iconic bags as well as pieces like scarves and earrings. Since 2014, Loewe has released a limited-edition publication to accompany Jonathan Anderson’s collections, and the Fall/Winter 2018 lookbook marks its 20th issue. The collectible volumes are only issued in a total of 1,200 copies, so be quick if you want to get your hands on one.
