Loewe Taps Japanese Artist Fumiko Imano for Its Latest Publication

Featuring the brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection.

Madrid-based label Loewe has teamed up with Japanese photographer and artist Fumiko Imano in its latest project, showcasing the house’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection designed by Jonathan Anderson.

The series focuses on Imano’s self-portraiture alongside Dutch model Saskia de Brauw, and is shot in Paris. As a child, Imano began to cut and paste 35mm self-portraits to create images of herself with her imaginary twin, inspiring her to bring the concept to life in the exclusively commissioned photographs. The images star Fumiko Imano and her double, as well as the Dutch model, and are all showcased in Loewe’s latest publication. The unique volume is issued in a run of 1,200 hand-numbered copies, and are set to be made available at Loewe stores in the near future.
