Studio ALCH Unveils Custom Nike Apparel at SS19 Show
Along with its fourth collaborative piece with Patta.
Studio ALCH held its Spring/Summer 2019 presentation in London displaying unisex sportswear. The inspiration behind the line is said to be pulled from the Japanese art of Chindōgu which is the practice of making products that are both useful and useless.
The range is based in black with pops of neon pink and green to merge sports and lifestyle silhouettes. Jackets and track pants are covered in grommets that are further detailed with silver carabiners. Velcro panelling is used to “support customized functional properties for the wearers” as well. Nike‘s strapped keychain is transformed into a hip-hugging skirt that is styled with shoes from the brand as well. Completing the line is a collaborative gilet made from a Patta backpack.
