Converse Reveals Collaboration With Korean Streetwear Boutique Kasina
The One Star and Chuck 70 Ox get reworked.
Converse has teamed up with Kasina to debut a new capsule highlighting the One Star and Chuck 70 Ox. The Seoul-based streetwear and sneaker boutique celebrates its 20th anniversary this year after opening its doors in 1997. Beginning with skatewear, the brand when on to embrace youth in the music and art industries contributing to the vibrant Korean streetwear scene.
Pulling from the label’s history, Kasina updated the One Star and Chuck 70 Ox in black leather with wide, black pinstripe detailing on the midsole. Kasina’s Hanja “女” character is printed on the heel alongside a text stamp of its founding year. Contrast stitching adds dimension to the both pairs which each sit on a clear outsole. As a final touch, a star logo is split between the right and left foot on the sneaker’s bottom.
