Converse Redesigns the One Star, Moving Logo to Heel
An all-new, minimal look.
Aside from the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70, the One Star is perhaps one of the most beloved models from Converse. Known for its beautifully simple, retro-inspired design, the sneaker has become a regular in every cozy girl’s sneaker rotation. Now, the label has completely reimagined the trainer, adding an unexpected design twist to the popular favorite.
Introducing a new One Star CC Pro Ox rework, Converse moves its standard star emblem from its typical side panel position to the heel instead. With the new redesign, the resulting profile view of the sneaker is refreshingly minimal. For the new iteration, the sneaker is introduced in two new shades: “Violet Dust” and “Desert Marigold.” For both, the shoe is constructed with a premium suede upper. Along with perforated detailing on the side panel, the shoe also highlights a debossed insignia on the tongue tag. Rounding off the look is a stark white midsole that has been completely smoothed out, replacing the model’s hallmark stripe and textured toe. Each shoe also comes with color-matching laces to complete the sleek aesthetic.
Both colorways of the new One Star CC Pro Ox are now available at select Converse Cons retailers such as Premier, where each pair retails for $85 USD.
