There must be something in the air this month, because July just seems to be full of collaborations. Between the restocking of the hilarious Kris Jenner x Kylie Cosmetics collection (which came complete with Kris’ first-ever YouTube beauty tutorial) and Victoria Beckham‘s exclusive capsule with Reebok, it seems that summer is the perfect time for blossoming partnerships.
This week also sees the release of Jordan Brand‘s first sneaker with Vogue Magazine’s editor extraordinaire Anna Wintour and Heron Preston’s otherworldly NASA line of apparel and accessories – read on to find out where to cop all these limited-edition pieces.
Release Date: July 24, 3 p.m. PST
Release Price: TBC, available at kyliecosmetics.com,
This collab was an instant hit as soon as news about its release started circulating – who can forget Kris hacking Kylie Cosmetics‘ social channels to reveal the announcement? For those who were unable to get their hands on the drop the first time around, there’s good news – a restock is on the horizon. It will include all of the original products – the Momager Lip Kollection, the “Give Me a Kiss” lip duo, a face palette, and the must-have 12-shade eyeshadow palette, too. You’ll need to set your alarm, because chances are this restock will sell out just as fast as the initial drop.
These Anna Wintour-approved Air Jordan 1s are part of Jordan Brand’s newly-announced collaboration with Vogue Magazine. The first sneaker in the collection, the AJ1 Zip AWOK will be released in both “University Red” and “Sail” colorways, with each high-top silhouette arriving in a tonal upper with an exposed silver zipper which is topped off with an “Edited by Vogue” tag. Completing the ultra-chic sneakers is the AWOK signature on the sole – Anna Wintour famously uses this same emblem to sign off approved pages for Vogue, just FYI.
Former Spice Girl turned fashion industry legend Victoria Beckham is swapping LBDs for hoodies with her debut Reebok collection. In fact the line, which heavily boasts graphics of Shaquille O’Neal throughout, comprises of ’90s-inspired hoodies, T-shirts and socks, too. The black, white and red color palette keeps the collection in sync and the sporty graphics mean these pieces won’t lose their cool-factor over the years either.
Release Date: July 27, although some pieces are available now
Release Price: Prices start from $85 USD, available at SSENSE.
Heron Preston is no stranger to a collaboration – he’s joined forces with UGG and Off-White™ in the past few months alone. This NASA partnership sees the designer produce a capsule of apparel and accessories in the signature white, orange and metallic silver hues. Key pieces include a shiny silver jacket, cozy sweatshirts, creamy logo socks and a practical boxy backpack. Although the release date was originally slated as July 27, it appears the collection got an early release over at SSENSE, so why not check it out now?
