FILA Revives Archival Football Styles for FW18 Heritage Collection
Including bodysuits, cropped tops, bomber jackets and more.
Although the World Cup has already ended, cozy wears inspired by football apparel will always remain a staple amongst streetwear enthusiasts. For all the cozy football fans out there, rejoice – FILA will be reviving archival football styles for its Fall/Winter 2018 Heritage collection. Included in the women’s range is a selection of bodysuits, dresses, cropped tops and elongated stretch shorts. Outwear items are also highlighted, such as bomber jackets, snap-off sleeve puffers and long jackets. Perhaps one of the most striking standout items is a royal blue faux fur jacket, emblazoned with the words FILA on the back in red and white.
For the new offering, FILA has completely reimagined the pieces’ vintage aesthetics, updating the classic graphics for a contemporary audience. A warm, earthy palette is used for a large number of items throughout the program, contrasted with accents of vibrant color for additional detailing.
