Toronto songbird Jessie Reyez has released a new track from her upcoming EP. “Apple Juice” is a spirited ballad that reflects on the short comings of her significant other.
She sings “you’re always fighting something/you never stop running” honing in on the impact of previous emotional trauma. “Love me” she asks in return for the love she’s giving. This track is the first of many that Reyez plans to share ahead of her fall project. The “Body Count” singer is currently on tour with Halsey and has been nominated for two MTV VMA awards.
