WARDROBE.NYC's Second Collection Includes an Exclusive adidas Originals Sneaker
The 10-piece capsule is available now.
WARDROBE.NYC intended to disrupt the fast-fashion system by launching the industry’s first luxury direct-to-consumer model at the end of last year. Now, the brand, founded by Christine Centenera and Josh Goot is back with its second collection and it includes an exclusive sneaker in partnership with adidas Originals.
Dubbed “Release 02 | Sport,” the capsule features a selection of men’s and women’s sportswear essentials, much like the name suggests. The 10 minimal and functional pieces are designed specifically for an active lifestyle – for women, this includes a crop top, tank top, bike shorts, leggings, long-sleeve t-shirt, a track top, track pants, a wind-breaker, a spacious gym bag and a pair of adidas Originals Yung-1 sneakers. Whilst the clothing all arrives in a uniform black colorway, the advanced-release chunky sneakers are seen in a white and light grey iteration, contrasted by a gum midsole.
Discussing the partnership with adidas, Centenera said “We’re honored to have the support of this iconic, innovative and influential sportswear brand for our debut sport’s wardrobe,” whilst Goot added “A collaboration with adidas allows us to speak to a new audience, and introduce a unique concept in luxury sport.”
Take a look at the ”Release 02 | Sport” collection in the gallery above – the capsule is only available as a 10-piece “wardrobe” and items cannot be purchased individually. You can check out the whole range and shop the line now at WARDROBE.NYC’s web store but be quick, there are only 500 “wardrobes” available.
