Disney Princesses Go Bad in Saint Hoax & Skim Milk's T-Shirt Collab
Parody at its finest.
Los Angeles-based brand Skim Milk is back with yet another mischievous release. Teaming up with the “pop-litically incorrect” artist Saint Hoax, the apparel label has recently launched a range of T-shirts and hooded sweaters parodying your childhood-favorite Disney princesses.
On the black and white tees and hoodies, Cinderella and Ariel from The Little Mermaid are seen nonchalantly giving the finger, with each design printed with the words “No” and “Still No” respectively. Skim Milk describes the collaboration as a statement that all women should be able to speak their minds freely.
This isn’t the first time Saint Hoax references familiar Disney characters for his work. Back in 2014, the artist created a controversial series entitled “Happily Never After,” using unsettling images of Disney princesses to deliver a powerful message against domestic violence.
Priced between $46 USD and $70 USD, the Saint Hoax x Skim Milk collaboration can now be shopped online.
On the topic of badass female characters, Disney has finally revealed a first look at its upcoming Mulan live-action remake. Starring Chinese-American actress, model and singer Liu Yifei, the film is expected to hit the silver screen on March 27, 2020. Check out an official image shared by Disney over here.
