American Apparel Launches Its First-Ever Outerwear Collection
Affordable covers for the cool weather.
American Apparel‘s Fall 2018 collection includes its first-ever outerwear collection. The brand’s head of merchandising, Khairan Majid, shares the inspiration behind the line:
“The Fall 2018 collection offers an inclusive and refreshing take on fashion basics with longevity. We wanted to break down barriers with gender-neutral silhouettes and a wider size range. The warm, neutral color palette and beautiful luxe fabrics elevate this range, while still keeping the price point accessible.”
Leading the range is a classic English trench coat ($98 USD) which arrives in “Vintage Khaki,” navy, “Lieutenant,” black/navy and “Lieutenant”/”Mauve.” Sizes are available in each silhouette from XS to XXL. We also see a reversible bomber jacket ($118 USD) that is updated with modern detailing. Completing the line is the Duckie puffer and jacket that appear in a bright yellow tone.
All of the styles shown in the lookbook above are available at American Apparel now. While you’re there check out the brand’s new NUDES collection which features skin tone bodysuits and tops.
