Wimbledon Launches Its First-Ever Strawberry Apparel Collection
Taking over the grass courts with preppy, 1930s style.
Wimbledon is underway for another summer, and this year the tournament wants to dress you for the Grand Slam. Launching its first-ever Strawberry apparel collection — a nod to the London slam’s iconic strawberries and cream dessert — preppy fashion has never been more on trend. Grab your rackets, baes. Wimbledon wants us to dress like the greats this year.
The collection is filled with looks inspired by Wimbledon’s iconic white uniforms. Pleated skirts, polos, quarter-zips and lightweight jackets make up the majority of the capsule, toeing the line between style and performance. Drawing design inspiration from the 1930s and tennis outfits from the decade, Art Deco influences are littered throughout.
A stylized tennis racket graphic decorates a fashion-forward tote bag, whilst a polo is covered in an abstract Wimbledon logo. Made for the courts as much as it was for the streets, each look can easily be worn in a title-winning match or for a stroll through Wimbledon Common.
The berry on top? Small strawberry details are stitched into a number of pieces from the collection, adding a sweet, feminine touch to a perfect debut capsule.
The Wimbledon Strawberry collection is available to purchase now on the Wimbledon website.
