The Carhartt WIP x Converse One Star Collection Refines the Classic Military Look
Arriving in three different colorways.
Having already released a collaboration with Manchester streetwear brand Oi Polloi earlier this summer, Carhartt WIP now unveils its latest partnership with iconic footwear label Converse. For the co-branded collection, the two introduce a three-pair release that highlights a classic military-inspired aesthetic.
True to Carhartt’s workwear background, the all-new pairs of the Converse One Star are constructed with premium, durable materials. Across all three colorways (green, white or black) the makeup is rendered with cordura fabric, which increases the upper’s durability – undoubtedly a beneficial feature for the harsher weather conditions to come in the months ahead. Additional details include the 313 area code on the tongue tag, which refers to Carhartt’s roots in Detroit, as well as a strong loop at the heel in place of the trainer’s typical heel tab.
The Carhartt WIP x Converse One Star Ox collection is slated to drop on September 20, with each pair retailing for $110 USD. You can take a closer look at the sneakers in the gallery above. For more sneaker news, don’t miss this official look at the Off-White™ x Nike Blazer “Spooky Pack.”
