COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT's New PVC Tote Bag Is Inspired by Your Childhood Barbie Bedsheets
As well as a ‘Star Wars’ pattern.
Hot on the heels of its Supreme collaboration that dropped last week (and promptly sold out, unsurprisingly), COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT now returns with a nostalgic tote bag release. Similar to its cult-status plastic paper tote bag, its latest arrival is also a covetable PVC creation. In place of the brown paper bag placed inside the plastic covering, the Japanese imprint uses instead unmistakable bedsheets from our childhoods as the main design.
Highlighting prints that feature both Star Wars scenes as well as a Barbie motif, the new release is sure to appeal to all the ’90s kids out there. As for the bag’s construction itself, the makeup once again highlights twin carry handles at the top. Although the graphics from the bedsheets are quite visually busy, you can still spot the CDG SHIRT logo printed in white on the exterior. Additional storage is also placed within the interior, in the form of a patch pocket that is adorned with a textile logo patch in blue. The rest of the interior is lined with beige fabric lining that is rendered with 100-percent cotton. As expected, the bag is made in Japan.
You can shop the new CDG SHIRT PVC bed sheets tote now for $240 USD at select stockists such as SSENSE. To see more from the label, don’t miss the latest COMME des GARÇONS x Converse Chuck Taylors covered in polka dots.
