Christian Louboutin's New Metallic Eyeshadows Are Pretty Like Magic Wands
Feast your eyes on the “Tape à l’Oeil” collection.
Ahead of the holiday season, Christian Louboutin has unveiled a new eye color collection dubbed ”Tape à l’Oeil,” featuring a beautiful mix of matte and metallic, iridescent eyeshadows. “Tape à l’oeil means eye-catching. It is a woman who exposes her femininity so that no one can miss her,” the designer is quoted in the official press release.
Created to enhance your unique personality, the range allows you to sculpt and adorn your lids in a variety of neutral and statement-making shades. In particular, the collection includes six matte, nude hues ideal for an effortless, everyday eye look. From the cream nude “Lea” to cognac-ish “Louana,” the oil-based gel formula applies like a fluid, but appears powdery matte when it sets.
For bolder makeup looks, reach for the metallic shades from the collection. Ranging from the rose gold “Morganite” and the bronzy “Pyrite,” to the wino “Carnelian” and shimmery blue “Iolite,” these brilliantly reflective eye colors are perfectly made for girls’ night-outs and year-end festivities. Not only are the shades long-lasting, they are also described to be smudge- and crease-proof.
Priced at $50 USD each, the Christian Louboutin ”Tape à l’Oeil” collection will be available in-stores come October 1. Scroll through above to see the sleek, gleaming gold packaging as well as all 12 shades from the upcoming release.
