Marine Serre has been on our horizon for quite some time now. The emerging designer who took home the 2017 LVMH Prize just wrapped up her Spring/Summer 2019 runway presentation at Paris Fashion Week. On the catwalk, Serre debuted a see-now, buy-now collaboration with Converse coming in two different variations. The specific Converse silhouette is titled the Chuck 70 XX HI by Marine Serre. Notably, the footwear arrives in “Apricot Pink” and “White.”
The “Apricot Pink” and “White” colorways both feature an elevated, knee-high design. The “Apricot Pink” silhouette’s detailing is reminiscent of Serre’s Trompe L’Oeil leggings which come with a plethora of tiny moons. The “White” version includes the brand’s “Futurewear” logo on one side and a crescent moon on the other side. Both designs are constructed with jersey material paired with a round toe cap and a zip closure on the inner side.
