Nike‘s revolutionary Cortez sneaker is a ’70s icon that’s just as popular today as its ever been. With recent iterations including a pastel suede “Elemental Rose” and embroidered golden leaves, it seems theres a Cortez to suit every outfit.
The latest version to sneak its way onto our wishlist is this neutral beauty which is sure to get heads turning. The pared-back upper arrives in light grey “Phantom” suede with tonal details throughout, including upon the laces and branded tab on the tongue. Standing out is the gleaming, metallic gold Swoosh on the lateral side that’s matched by a hit of gold on the heel, which boasts white Nike script across it. Completing the classic silhouette is a layered midsole with a serrated outsole in a gum finish.
